And so it begins.....

It took one month 6 days to finally start our blog. We finally get to start a "grand" adventure overseas in South Korea. I will do my best to keep things as updated as possible.
Of course our jounery couldn't start without drama, and I am talking, day one, on the plane about ready to take off, day one. As we hear the announcement of the cabin door closing we get cozy for our 14 hour flight, BUT BEHOLD 5 minutes later we hear "cabin doors opening". A lady comes to our row and points at a piece of paper and says, "Are you Traci Urquhart?" Oh crap I am already in trouble and we haven't even left the terminal. (side note I am a Highly fearful flyier so I had in my possession some heavy duty drugs, doctor prescribed of course) I thought I did something wrong. So nervously I answered yes......She informed us that as they were loaded our dog they dropped her on the tarmat and that we need to gather our things and go down there and that we might miss this flight. REALLY!!! We head down and my poor lil miss Annie is so upset and the crate is broken to pieces! They were so lucky that no harm physically happened to my dog. As they were discussing putting her in another crate the co polit came down and was talking to me and seemed more upset then I was and informed everyone that Annie will NOT be put back into a crate that she will ride on the plane with us. WHOO-HOO!!! So here she is all cuddle up in a ball at feet using the airline's pillows and blankets
We didn't have a leash so we got a rope from
one of the ground crew. She was the best passenger (it's true that's what everyone on the plane kept telling us) It was a really smooth flight and it really only took us 12 hours to get there but man I was so tired I don't remember the drive to the base and after 2 weeks of calling, emails, and faxes we were refunded all pet fees and cost of crate and got a brand new XX-Large crate for free.
